Well what to say . except I'm pissed
This laptop is nothing more than a nightmare. Lady comes in and ask me to remove the password on this Asus Vivobook x 705qa that she knows what password is. I say sure no problem . I type in the password ( 2628) and ofc it lets me in BIOS. I go in the password section enter last password and leave it blank with confirm with enter. Bios say confirm password change and that is blank ok save exit.
And disaster. It asks for password on boot. none of the passwords work now , and i dont know what to do.
There is no BIOS dump anywhere for this model and i cant flash it back.
I recovered the BIOS from it, and if anyone can help me asap it would be appreciated.
They leave the country soon, and there is a feeling in the air that i messed things up.
