biostar MCP6P M2+ command rate choice
#1
hello from Brazil

biostar MCP6P M2+
http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en-us/mb/b...p?S_ID=370
version bios 61PBM506.BSS

Hey guys i believe this option are ghost because biostar support reply for buy a T-power series .... Rolleyes for overclocking ....

The chipset MCP61P have this feature , on abit NF-M2S have this option on timming memory settings ghost on some bioses versions (CTRL + F1 to show)

This biostar board when used divisors on memory forced to 1T only limited the overclock on memory ... This option of brand to forced limited overclock to sold another boards more expensive ... thats ridiculous

I have Athlon X2 BE 2300 (1.9 GHz @ 2.9 GHz) vcore stock 1.2v rock solid
but the memory because 1T CR forced by this board
i used divisor 200 (/ 10) and run only 580 MHz ...

my memory on abit run ok on 1000 MHz , 5-5-5-15
and choice on bios CR 2T

on operate system by software i change cr
but the problem is on POST ... 1T only is very limited clocks ...

Thank You!

Hi Mate

im sorry but its not particularly clear what you want here

Memory timings can be found under Performance >>DRAM Configuration >>Timing Mode

Try setting this to MaxClk instead of Auto to see if this achieves what your after
