eeepc 1000h 3g card slot question

i've made some mod to my eeepc 1000h.

I've installed the mini pci express slot for 3g card (bridged few pins on the board like other users do), with the intention to use a broadcom crystal hd card....

but it seems to be locked by bios.... It's true or it's just my immagination???

the difference between 1000h and 1000hg except the connectors???

i've tried to put the 2204 gts bios, but nothing changed, the card still not working

it's possible to enable the 3g slot??

i think in device configuration the 1000hg has another option.....

Hello,

I've got the same problem on an ACER netbook:
3g card slot is only USB; broadcom crystal hd card is full mini-pcie needed.

So if you want to use CrystalHD, you must use mPCIe from existing mPCIe wifi.
I used an adapter to convert USB line from mPCIe connector to female type A USB. Next I uses Belkin N300 F7D2102.
Maybe you can perform wifi: open the N300 and sold the existing the wired antenna from the 1000H on it.

I have a 1025C and I wish to do the same think but impossible to find the proper connector for 3G connector. Do you have some information for this (picture, tutorial, ...).
