That is where the file is located. I too need to have overclocking in a Gateway motherboard, but there are no BIOS options for it. If able to help, many thanks! n.n

These are the most up to date bios drivers for this motherboard.

Another useful thing, the pll to this board.
Written as displayed on the chip.

I managed to OC my locked bios system by using software "SetFSB" Version 2.3.178.134 http://www13.plala.or.jp/setfsb/ which supported my pll from my motherboard , the only down side to this is that version costs 800 yen which is $8.29 USD to use full functions.

I paid the price and he sent me my activation key, "which is computer bound so it cant be used on any other machine" and it simply works. Using CPU-Z and PRIME95 i was able to stress test on PRIME95 and see the actual overclock on CPU-Z once set from SetFSB. The cpu everybody's using in this thread should be a AMD PHenom II X4 945 Deneb cause mine is and i was able to overclock it from 3.0ghz to 3.35ghz before it would get glitchy and eventually crash my system due to instability.

My settings on SetFSB where 450/1520 for setting the frequency just in case anybody decides to go this route instead of buying a new computer.

If you use SetFSB, use clock generator ICS9LPRS475BGLF , this will work on the DX4300 DX4320 and probably all Gateway models within that area as long the the motherboard is a Acer Veriton M430 rs880m05

I have basically stock everything besides my video card so this should work for you to.

Maybe someone here can unlock the bios and you won't have to go this route which is why i posted here but i was desperate for a boost and i finally found one, i now see improvements in games like Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, and Arma 3. Not much but i definitely squeezed 10-20 fps out of those games which is all i really wanted without paying the cost of a new computer.

Don't bother searching for similar programs like SetFSB because i have tried them all and none of them can get past the locked BIOS. Sorry guys for the good and bad news but this post may save a lot of peoples times that where searching for a answer like me.
