Hello everyone, I have a simple MSI B150 Gaming M3 card. I heard that before 2016 there were bios modified from the Z170 to unlock the OC. I would like to know if you can help me find a solution to activate the OC.

With the B150 chipset you won’t ever get true overclocking like you would on a Z170 board. MSI and Intel locked the B150 down so CPU multiplier overclocking isn’t supported, and that’s not something a BIOS mod can really enable reliably. People talk about “unlocking” features but what that usually did back in the day was enable a few hidden settings or better memory tuning, not full CPU overclocking.

If you want more performance you can look at better memory settings within the stock BIOS, update to the latest official MSI firmware, and make sure XMP or DOCP is enabled for your RAM.
