I have this board from an rm ascend 2050 desktop .

The issue i have is that i can't seem to get the board functioning with more than two ram modules at a time.

If i use single sided i can get single or dual channel working but with dual sided ram i can only run in dual channel mode and only with two modules.

I am hoping that it is just a ram timing/voltage configuration issue but this bios has No options at all.

Could somebody please look over the bios rom file for me and see what options can be opened up please as i am stuck with ram i can't utilise.

On a side note RM have a nice little usb boot preperation tool that does free dos, ms dos and a well as hdd and fdd emulation i have uploaded it to mediafire the link is.

After contacting the pc makers support team, they said this board only support four single rank modules or 2 dual rank modules that is why i was getting ram error beep code with more than two dual sided modules.

My guess is this was originaly a 2 slot board but they spread the ram out between four to use cheaper single rank modules?

I have fitted four single sided modules now , but the ram gets downclocked to pc5300 (same with 2 dual rank modules).

I settled for 4gb as this is what the tech guy said is the max forthis board even though all other documents online say 8gb, (i'm not buying 4x2gb or 2x4gb to experiment either).
