#1
Hey guys! I just got this laptop and I want to increase the amount of video memory available. It is said that it scales with the RAM but it's greyed out in BIOS. Anything possible?

Insyde 1.30 BIOS Link: http://global-download.gateway.com/GDFil...Y&SC=PA_6G

Thank you.

Ok friend,
try this Bios Mod, Flash It from Dos using a USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick :

https://www.sendspace.com/file/sskv2t

Update from pure DOS with USB-bootable stick
See how to make one here:
http://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-c...usb-drive/

https://app.box.com/s/w8xgrhpwf2nx0kamfkc0

Copy the "Modified" folder contents into the stick and boot in DOS mode and
Run Flash.bat to update.

Let me know
regards

Mate hats off to you! I flashed your mod successfully and it works great. Congratulations! My BIOS menu now has all sorts of advanced options and stuff. I am afraid though that the video memory option is still greyed out. Sad

Ok friend,
can You upload a Menu Tab Screen Shot and show me that Setting ?
I will look into EFI IFR Code to see if It's possible to unhide this option !
Let me know

Sorry to bump an old thread... I would also like this bios mod but the link is dead and also looking for the memory option to be unlocked. Here is the photo you wanted showing Video memory option.

Regards
