Hey, caught this site while searching about bios unlocking and i was wondering if you would be able to help out the laptop community.

Over at notebookreview theres a 700 something page thread for the w90 and many of us are starting to run the qx9300, issue is were locked at about a 3.0ghz clock on the stock voltages for the quadcore 9300. Funny thing is that the quadcore we put in to replace the dualcore gets LESS voltage then the dualcore does. Were hoping you can help us by unlocking a hidden voltage option in the bios or even just allowing the voltage we get for the dual on the quadcore.

This chip can supposedly hit 3.6ghz fairly easily as advertised by intel and we'd like to see that for ourselves Smile Im unsure what model the motherboard is but its running an x38 chipset if thats any consellation. Well do whatever it takes to get this unlocked and are willing to provide any details we can Smile

Heres the latest bios, we've been teased by asus running this chip at 4ghz and know its possible but they refuse to give up the bios Sad

I've been notified that the bios on asus site is apparently corrupt. Heres a backup of the bios directly off my machine. Hmm seems i cant add it as a rar'ed attachment. Any place i can host this file? Or even an email i can send it to?

Blah alright. Who would we need to write or modify the bios other then Asus of course (i just have a bad feeling were gonna get left in the dark in terms of overclock lovin). Is it possible for someone with an understanding of AMI bios' to actually write in a voltage option or is that a totally unrealistic possibility?

As you can tell we really dont want this to be the end of the road Smile

Alright admin, give this bios a shot if you could, its off the asus Taiwan site, fresh as of may 26. Not sure if its going to be corrupted like the other one but well see, INC via email again.
