Which chip did you end up using? I'm not sure which one to use either.
Can You read on the frontside left square chip is almost big nd It would be the Chipset !
I cannot read the words . . .

The Eerom Chip near It is

After removing the back cover of the laptop. You will see the motherboard and the chip is located on the opposite side of the board. It is in between the 4 ram modules (Skynix) and the hole. Look for the chip with the label GD25LQ64.

Red circle is the chip. See link.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your work on this, it worked perfectly on my test Yoga. However could anyone give me some hints as to how I might be able to restore the serial number and UUID after flashing? Smile I have 60 of these things in an Active Directory environment and I'd like to get everything right.. I certainly don't want to have to remove the boards to flash them all more than once!
You have to write them into DMI Bios Region !

Thanks, are you able to recommend a tool to do the job? Smile I'm guessing that I need something that can edit the modified BIOS dump that you uploaded?
