Hi,
I installed your modded-BIOS and unlocked the advanced-Settings. But I still miss the "memory remapping"-feature to use more than 4GB RAM. I added a second 4GB RAM to the free slot(so 8GB total) and use Win 7 64bit, but still just get 4GB to see, (because of missing remap). Can you please help me.

Hallo guys ...i have a big problem with my aspire 5755G !!! Pls give me a hand in that difficult times for me.Im not an expert with overclocking and undervolting, but I know for sure the problem is not the hardware ...i hope so Smile
The problem is that my laptop is going rly hot when i put it over some load (game) ..and the cpu hits 90-97C for a short time.I open the laptop, cleand the Fan and change the thermal compound twice so far ...and the last time i put the best one in the market ...CooLaboratory Liquid Ultra.I even did turn off the turbo boost, but unfortunatly all of the above didnt help at all.I got the new unlocked BIOS from here..and now I dont have a clue what to do with it.
Other thing is that when Play a game without the charger ...the laptop is not overheating and the perfomance is not going down rly much, but the moment I conect the charger it starts to burn like [censored].Thats why I think there is something wrong with the focking voltages,or something else ...but i dont know what exactly to change in the BIOS ...so far I've Opend my laptop twice to reset the batery Big Grin So guys ...if u can by any chance share the BIOS Options with me, so i can copy them and see if something is gonna change, it will be wonderfull.
Or at least try to give me some nice and helpfull advice b4 I grab this focking pile of shi t and smack it on the floor.
If u need any other informations ...dont hesitate to ask...
cheers guys ...i hope ill get a fast response Big GrinExclamation

Acer Aspire 4750 - G - Z - ZG 4752 - G - Z - ZG 4755 - G - Z - ZG

Acer Aspire 4755G has a Insyde H2O Bios, I got the v.2.19 with Slic 2.1 but It's a UEFI pure version, so for a
Menu Tabs Unlock You have to use Falseclock Method, so find it into Insyde Bios Repository !

Hi guys, I have a problem...

Background:

I have a Acer 5755G with intel HD3000 and NV GT540m. I recently bought a Qnix 2710 LCD, with resolution of 2560 x 1440 and only Dual-link DVI connector. I have always used my 5755G with a 24inch monitor, I have a DVI to HDMI-male adapter which allows the connection.

My research indicated that the intel card does not support this resolution but the nv card will. so I tried to disable the intel card and only use the NV card. I did so in windows. It seems to work as in intel card seems to be disabled and NV card is being used, but i cannot get into nvdia control panel to change resolution. I tried 3 different NV drivers and none worked as I hoped. So I thought, maybe I need to disable the intel card from within the bios. which is what brought me to this site...

The problem:

I downloaded this bios. in fact I downloaded the 121 version (link from youtube), it installed fine. I got into the bios, and I changed IGP from auto to disabled. then pressed F10 and quit.

Now the monitor will not lit up at all. It seems that the computer does not understand that it should switch to Nvidia card once intel card is disabled. I tried to using both HDMI and VGA output, neither will post any pictures.

Possible solutions ?

Given that the computer will not output any display, I think there are 3 potential options.

1, Assuming the computer actually still works. I should be able to get into bios by pressing F2 at power up. From there on I just need to know how many ups and downs do I need to get to "reload default" setting.

2, Assuming option 1 does not work, is there a one button solution that would load bios default?

3, Assuming both above options dont work, how do I do a hard reset?

OMG, I fixed it!!

Well. it was just as I thought, option 1 worked. F2 -> bios, F9 -> load default, F10 -> save, wuala!

Since that issue is solved. do you guys know if it is at all possible to output display via nvidia card permanently?
