Just few minutes ! so You have to stop It and use different Method !
I think it not possible to flash the Bios Mod by Recovery so use this one and
follow instructions :

http://rghost.net/66KkyNfsb

Let me know
Regards

For Bios to version 1.14 use this Guide . . .

Update from pure DOS with USB-bootable stick
See how to make one here:
http://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-c...usb-drive/

https://app.box.com/s/w8xgrhpwf2nx0kamfkc0

Copy the "Modified" folder contents into the stick and boot in DOS mode and
Run Flash.bat to update.

Or use Sleep Bug . . .

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Don't touch Video Settings or Disable Video Card It will Brick laptop !!!

Please post results.
This mod for your PC only!!!

For Bios after version 1.14 then follow this Guide

*************************************************************************************************************************
UPDATE !!! ***** Only version 1.13 (30) or 1.14 (31) are Full Moddable so Downgrade to them . . . *****

How To Downgrade :

Snebob (user) suggestion . . .

Run this to downgrade:

http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...vy2113.exe

Remember to set the Option (BIOS Back Flash) in bios that
enables you to flash an older bios, before you run it.

Nop (user) suggestion . . .

I found another solution - Just in case it was ever needed.

Download the 1.14 version

http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...cn31ww.exe

Then use 7-zip to extract that .exe file, You will find a platform.ini file into that folder.

Then Look for "BIOSVFEnable=2" and replace it with "BIOSVFEnable=0", run as Administrator InsydeFlash.exe tool and go !

Verified working !

Now You can flash the Bios Mod using Slee Bug . .

We flash v.3.0 over BIOS version 1.14 which unlock eeprom, but It disalign EC code.

Hi friend,
Your laptop can Boot to Windows now ?
Have You looked the lasto post where I uploaded the new file :

http://rghost.net/66KkyNfsb

So read above and follow instructions to flash the Bios Mod over a Bios
Downgrade to v. 1.13 or 1.14 as actually from v.32 to up all Bioses
produced a Write Protected Eeprom !
So only way to flash the Bios Mod is go backward to 1.13 or 1.14 and then
flash Bios Mod to go forward again !
Let me know
Regards

Thanks friend but as I said up I quit. It's the first time I'm dealing with bios and I really don't have the time and energy (I'm doing chemotherapy right now) to read and understand things such newer for me. For now windows works ok, beside the missing of brightness bar and iqiyi that i took when I installed AIDA64. I will try to get rid of this annoing virus and then will be ok for the moment.

P.S. I will send you a little gift because you tried your best and I appreciate that. Thanks again!

Hi,
I'd like to remove whitelist from latest BIOS from Lenovo y50-70 model 20378

Manufacturer: Lenovo
Model: y50-70 20378
Bios revision: 9ECN43WW (V3.03)
Bios Type: UEFI

ORIGINAL ROM: http://www.terminalstrip.net/Download/LE...8).rom.zip

REPORT: http://www.terminalstrip.net/Download/Report.htm.zip

I'd like to upgrade wifi card to BCM94352ZAE_3 - DW1560

I think is necessary to remove the black list or insert my card on the whitelist, how to perform this?

Let me know
Thanx!
