[REQUEST] Lenovo Y50-70 (9ECNxxWW) Whitelist Removal
Hello,

I have a Lenovo Y50 and I just upgraded the BIOS (InsydeH2o) to: 9ECN43WW(V3.03)

I would like to unlock the advanced BIOS settings in order to set the WOL (wake on LAN) option, etc.

I'm new to this website/forum and I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting/asking...

Thanks

You know when turns on even when is black because the black from a screen that's off is deeper than one that's on (Ask Samsung and their Amoled screens, they're experts on that)

I have decided to buy a new Mobo in case it cannot be fixed. I'll like to make you a small donation for helping me unlocking the bios. Even though I fucked it up, it's not your fault and you were very helpful. I just want to know if I have to donate to the forum or to your PayPal account.

Just let me know and thanks for your help again. I may need you again in case I need to buy a new Mobo. I'll like to unlock the BIOS of the new one.

Ok try the Recovery Bios :

8821
1, copy ZIVY2.bin files to the U packing list and ensure no suffix in the directory name to bin the relevant documents (U disk formatted as fat or FAT32, no guide information)
2, shut down and unplug the battery, power adapter
3, insert U disk
4, do not put down the FN+R hotkey
5, insert power adapter
6, starting
7, the release of FN+R hotkey
8, the system automatically, until the end of the sound, the system will automatically restart and normal boot (this process must not be cut off!)

Hey there, me again for a quick warning:
Like many, I've had problems with the latest Nvidia drivers (From revs 355 up to today's 359)...we might have to ALL flash a new bios soon: users have reported Lenovo putting a 3.04 bios on their site this week & then pulling it off. Apparently, this bios fixed the bugs but introduced others. Stay posted...
