So I was going to try and boot my laptop to USB to run a battery diagnostic and the boot menu wouldn't load....
After navigating through the terrible [censored] that is Lenovo's help forums, I found the problem was the BIOS version my laptop was running, so I updated it....
Good news, I can get into the BIOS now. Bad news, completely forgot that I had gotten a BIOS mod from here about a year or so ago and now my laptop would boot into Windows because of Lenovo's stupid whitelist BS.
Right now, running the laptop without a wireless card so that I could get it to boot. Requesting assistance from a good Samaritan.

Using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt We can do the Mod by ourself, in any time and wherever We are !!!
Just use the right Patches.txt for the own Bios Version, so for 65CN99WW use this one !!!
How to use ? It's easy, just do a biosbackup.bin file and drag&drop on UEFIPatch.exe (the Patches.txt file has to be togheter at tool) It will reply with a file patched, then rename that file as bios.bin, put It into modified folder where are all rest tools to re-flash Bios Mod and copy all files from modified folder to an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and Boot from USB !
Then at CLI Prompt Comand run flash.bat That's It all !
Hi BDMaster and everyone in this forum. I'm new here
I own a Lenovo U410 w/ BIOS version 65CN99WW , I'm trying to upgrade my wifi adapter and surfing the web I found this thread.
Now I'm trying to backup my BIOS with Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 and when I run it as an administrator I get an error "Can not identify the BIOS" so I'm not been able to do my backup.
Also I cannot download those tool that you provide to MOD neither I don't have the experience and don't know how to do it.
If you or anyone in this forum can help me with this I will be more than greatful.
Kind regards and thank you in advance,
Ivan

I am upgrading the wifi card (Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230) to a intel 7260 wireless-ac on my U310 Touch and would like to have the whitelist removed.
Bios version: 65CN99WW
I try to use (universal bios backup tool) but it's doesn't work.
I have searched through the forumn and noticed this has been done many times and there is also a method for me to do it myself, but all the links to the programs seem to be broken.
Please let me know if you need this in a different format. Or if anyone still has the instructions and programs needed to do it myself I will gladly do that as well.
Computer: Lenovo U410
BIOS: 65CN99WW
Also what program will I need to flash with?

I did a backup using BackupTool_18 and uploaded the results.rar here:

are you still modding BIOS files?
I have a 21WW from my U410 that does not accept newer WiFi cards such as the Intel 7260. https://www.sendspace.com/file/s3pk47
Could maybe someone unlock the list?
Regards.
