X99 SOC CHAMPION microcode
#1
Hello all, I am needing a help with a BIOS of a GIGABYTE X99 SOC CHAMPION, I want to get rid of all microcodes from haswell-e cpus in order to make the famous glitch of the xeons e5 v3, I am running a 2683 v3 and I want to run 3.0 ghz in all cores. *Note that the microcodes from broadwell-e cpus need to still intact.
Can anyone help me in this task?

You can only mask this microcode.
Open it in HxD and replace bytes
F2 06 03 00 53
to
F0 06 03 00 55

Only masking this microcode will be enough to get rid of the haswell-e microcodes?
Thanks for the help you are giving, it is helping me alot!

It's enough for usual (non-ES) CPU with Haswell-E core.
After flashing mod of BIOS: boot into Windows and make&post a screenshot of regedit with expanded key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0

Okey, so there is no other step? just save it the modded bios in HxD and flash it?
