Compatible Processors for DQ77KB
i7-3770S is the best choice for you.

Wow. That - that burns man. Really burns.
No way to search by cpu code etc? I guess you know better than that.
Man - a whole new CPU. FU, Intel. BIOS-out a perfectly working setup - no heat issues, nothing.

FU royally Intel.

Thank you so much anyway.

Anyone have an i7-3770S they want to sell/swap for an i5-3570k plus some cash? Angry

Oh - btw - Windows Update will not work on the i5-3570k. I am willing to bet the ancient BIOS is the reason.

Thanks for your help anyway. Hopefully the thread will help others in the future.

I ended up selling my i5-3570k on eBay for $AUD175 and scored a brand new i7-3770s for $AUD250.
According to PassMark, the i7-3770s is 20% faster than the i5-3570k - while using 16% less power!!

That is quite a big upgrade for AUD$75 - especially when you include a BRAND NEW WARRANTY Wink

Hello everyone!

I have a motherboard.

Intel DQ77KB link https://ark.intel.com/en-GB/products/590...ard-DQ77KB

Processor link https://ark.intel.com/en-GB/products/657...e-3-30-GHz-

has to add support for my bios.

bios installed link https://downloadcenter.intel.com/en-us/d...duct=59046

The motherboard connects but not the image.

I have another motherboard link https://www.gigabyte.com/Motionboard/GA-...-rev-21#ov

on this board the processor works normal.

For Intel board you must dump the BIOS with flash programmer (hardware, like CH341A or EZP2010).
Then someone can mod the dumped BIOS for you.

Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
Tell sSpec of your Xeon E3-1230 v2. Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with it.

Install your Xeon, clear CMOS and try to boot up. Describe in details the results of this experiment.

Hello, the sspec and the sr0p4.

the card does not turn on the video signal. some time it switches off and on again. no image. I have re-written the bios, and researched. more stays the same.
