Fujitsu Siemans Stylistic ST5032D
#1
Good day all.

I have a quite old Fujitsu Siemans Stylistic ST5032D tablet pc.

This unit is still working well, but the unit does seem to run hotter then I would like.

When the system is 1st powered on the cooling fan runs at full speed unto the bios post as finished then the fan runs at a low speed.

I am hoping that there is a hidden menu to adjust the fan speeds.

Here are the links to the bios files.
BIOS Flash (ISO CD-Image) - STYLISTIC ST5031 / ST5032.
BIOS DOS Flash (Disc-Image) - STYLISTIC ST5031 / ST5032.
BIOS Windows Flash (BUP) - STYLISTIC ST5031 / ST5032.

Thanks for your time.

Best Regards.

HI ,

there is no hidden options in your bios for TRIP POINT or FAN .
you need a modified ACPI , DSDT table to edit the active trip point to make the fan run full speed .

OR YOU CAN JUST DISASSEMBLE YOUR NOTEBOOK , YOU WILL FIND 3 WIRED FOR THE FAN ( OR 4 ) JUST REMOVE THE THIRD THEN WHEN THE FAN RUNS , IT WILL RUN AT FULL SPEED BUT I RECOMMEND MODIFYING DSDT TABLE .

I DIDN`T LOOK DEEPLY AT THE DSDT TABLES BEFORE BUT I WILL TRY THIS.
