Help for a bios newbie (hp g62 b25sa)

Hey I have a little question if anyone could help. Recently I purchased a Samsung 830 128gb ssd to speed up my ageing Hp core i3 350m laptop sadly to find out that hplocks out turning ACHI mode on in the bios. I realize what a stupid mistake this is to make looking back on it now since I should have realized. I am pretty much a newb when it comes to bios mods/hacks but I'm willing to try any of your suggestions. Thanks for helping me out in advance!

do you want to dupicate and replace for the old sata to SSD without reinstall everything? don't know.

I think your ageing Hp core i3 350m might have regular sata hardisk, mean not SSD.
but the SSD, the Samsung 830 128gb is only working in your laptop on ACHI or RAID in bios setting, not as IDE for old sata harddisk.

the core i3 is fast and if you have feel slow, you should remove malwares or unnecessrory programs like as exipired antivirus protection. it menas you need to say goodbye your expired ex-wifes.
