[REQUEST] HP Elitebook 8440p Whitelist Removal

I have looked in the HP BIOS recovery partition, and have found a backup of the current F.50 BIOS.

There are files called 68CCU.BIN and 68CCU.SIG

Are these what you need?

Yes these files are good, but They are not a Backup, but are Original
Bios File and Signature File !
They are saved Decrypted Bios and Signature, before flashing Process.
You have to use the erompaq patched version :

Hi there, I saw this thread and did run the file downloaded from here: http://rghost.net/53128665 and get errors. Maybe it has to do with my system running in UEFI mode?

The file downloaded here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/662muo will not run at all on my system, also not in compatibility mode.

I have HP Elitebook 8440p, with BIOS in UEFI mode, Windows7 64bit. I also run Linux (Kali Linux) also in UEFI mode.

Thanks

Hi there,

I was trying to download the files in Dropbox, but they are not there anymore :-( Knowing this is an old thread, I still hope someone can help me with the files? I will try them because this HP laptop blocks my new Intel 7260HMW card! Bad bad HP! They never mentioned that when I bought the laptop. And I use the laptop to demonstrate WiFi speed of routers I sell... So blocking the upgrage to new technology cards makes this laptop useless to me.

Is someone willing to upload the files?

I have also a backed-up BIOS from an earlier upgrade to F50 version. The backup is F13 BIOS version.

I will use my paypal if it works of course. Name your price.

/edit: F13 is not usable, since I can not downgrade from F50 it says.

And sorry for a stupid question, but how to use EROMPAQ_patched.zip or HPQFlash version 4.30.10.2? How it could be helpfull? What was patched?
Am I right that this utilities (dos/win) could help to upgrade/mod RSA signed bios? Is it possible to rollback bios to any prev version using this patched utilities?

many thanks for the answer

so I need to pass 2 steps:
1. to remove RSA check using some HW programmer and modified dump
2. after step1 play with whitelist removal
