machine assembled. i cant open all again. its not to easy and i can break somewhere when tried...

disconnect battery. u will see empty battery circle slot. u released how to open.

there is battery touch little metal legs. one side one one side combined 2. connect them with a nude cable. wait little.

after there is very near im remember "jc1" writing. but now im fallow http://blog.parts-people.com/2013/05/21/...tallation/

i cant see jc1 but may be its same point but on side side.... they are writing white colored "jc1" like and some other wrting "jcxp1" like.... i cant remember them fully.

jcxp lots of little metal point on motherboard. im connected them to all. short circuit connection tried lots circuit there.

when u released battery from case. short circuit not dangereous. try all points short circuit near the battery. try and wait. dont touch and fast release.

if cmos reset not enough. may be your cables damaged but it can connect again with soldering gun. ( but its not easy )

second. if cmos not enough intel gpu inside processor ( intel apu... ) may be can need cpu reset. im not know intel cpu need reset or not reset.

but i know intel systems with intel thief security have system lock capability. when this activated wrongly it can be bad.... im not know all.

im tried lots of. but my bricking was like this. i was see DELL picture at start. but when i pressed F2 i cant join setup... system cant boot. autotomaticaly closed.

jc1 area near to one corner. but i cant remember which corner. when u found it. short circuit lots of connection with a metal cable and wait. when u tried lots of short circuit u can find cmos reset.

u must very carafully when opened case. little cabble connections between keyboard motherboard or main case can easily break if u forget disconnect from plug point.

do lots of short cicuits near the battery u will found cmos reset or same effect....

disassemble notebook. take good pictures from motherboard. i can show how tried short cicuits for reset.

How do I flash the modded BIOS? That End technique doesn't read the USB sticks I prepare.

I want to enable Fixed Mode to test Mantle and acceleration in Chrome.

Can't I just flash this normally with a BIOS utility?

Hello guys, I am with this DELL 15R 7520, however the bios version is A11. I'm trying to upgrade wifi (took a Broadcom n manufactures by a Intel 7260 AC). The computer recognizes, but says the device can not be started... It could be a bios lock? If so I can use that posted his second file (the 1st is off) even my bios and more current (A11 instead of A10 of your file)? Looking forward of salvation!

I would really need the hex file for the two flash chips on the mainboard (I can solder and program them but my laptop is completely dead after a failed recovery using a usb flash drive. Not a single light is flashing when I try to turn it on).
I found the hex for the 4mb flash chip somewhere else but I really need the file for the 2mb chip...
(At least I hope that it is not a hardware fault... :/ I had to recover after I got a rom checksum error (one beep) two days after updating the bios from A09 to A11...)

Thanks,
Jakob

Hi BIOSmods

I have this laptop: Product Support | Dell US and it has switchable graphics settings, however I don't want switchable graphics, I want to change my graphics to be fixed to one video card. It seems that some BIOS have the option to do this, but my current BIOS does not. I am running the Insyde A11 BIOS which you can get a hold of here Download File

My specs:
 [Image: 56d6a76d887f7a310ec72ad71eb2dd24.png][Image: 1314e800edaa61d7cf223b99548fb545.png]

As you can see, I have the AMD Radeon HD 7700M and Intel HD Graphics 4000, and it seems that most people with switchable graphics similar to mine have some kind of setting in their BIOS which allows them to disable the switchable graphics and have them fixed to the one video card, and this is what I want, I want to fix it to always use the AMD card.

Thanks!
