[Request] Toshiba R30-A for unlock current limit throttling

Hi,

I use build a hackintosh at this R30-A,

I change the CPU to i7-4910MQ from i3-4000M

every thing work fine but the BIOS lock the current that the CPU only work at 1.8GHz when full loading

this issue is the same in Windows and MacOS,

the Windows could use the intel XTU to unlock the current limit (set IccMax to 256A), but the MacOS I don't know how.

please help me to mod the bios for unlock current limit

Check with HWInfo64, in large window motherboard section, do you see ME section? If yes, what is ME FW version?
Also, run this and upload file it creates if it makes one (You cannot move it's window)

Hi ME FW version is 9.0

and the Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 will get the error as attachment

Please download this Intel ME System Tools V9.1 package

Inside you will find Intel Flash Program folder, and inside that you'll see Win32 folder.
Select the Win32 folder and hold shift then press right click, choose open command window here, then type the following at the command prompt.
FPTw.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin

Then zip and upload the created biosreg.bin file.

Thanks, please download this package and run the 32 and 64 bit commands from each version folder, if any NVRAM.txt files created leave them in place and zip the entire package back up and upload so I can check.  Leave the NVRAM.txt in place so we can know which version worked for your system, if any do.   None may work, but best we check to see

And from your images I see you can access most of what I mentioned, except last two (aside from hide special settings, we can set that to disable and see what it shows you if you want?)

Do either of those last two look like they would affect CPU speeds regarding your concerns?
