The second type of BIOS enables the UEFI BOOT ENVIRONMENT, which has many benefits... Laptops with Windows 7 pre-installed have a normal BIOS. Laptops with Windows 8 pre-installed have UEFI...

This guide is oriented to all laptops that have Windows 7 (Legacy BIOS)


Here are the instructions:


1. Open your xxxxx.exe file in a hex editor

2. Find the string: DisableSecureCapsuleFlash=1

3. Change the string to DisableSecureCapsuleFlash=0

4. Save it (is good to make a backup)

5. Flash it normally

6. After rebooting, you will find a new option in the Boot tab

7. Switch between Legacy Boot and UEFI
