AMI-Pegatron BIOS Windows 8

Hi everyone,
I'm completely new here and this is my first time making a post. I hope I can find a solution to my problem.

Recently I've updated my windows 7 laptop to windows 8 Pro (Big mistake).
I have an intel i7-2630QM with integrated intel HD 3000

After the upgrade I have noticed that my HDMI port is not recognized since nothing is being sent through it. I've installed all intel updates, yet nothing has fixed the problem. Some sites on the internet have suggested that the problem could lie within the BIOS.

Anyone can help me find an update for this BIOS? Below is a breakdown of my system:

-Motherboard: Pegatron A15
-Motherboard version: 1.0

-Bios: American Megatrends Inc.
-Bios version: 211 (06/17/2011)

-Motherboard ID: 63-0100-00001-00101111-061610-Chipset-0AAAA000

Please help me since I've been going crazy with many things on this laptop since I've performed the update.

Upgrading to Windows 8 is not a problem. The problem is your old BIOS.
