ASUS BIOS MOD GL703VD

Problem: all guides are about text mode bios. This bios is graphical and any modification to AMITSE (which is present) are not reflected in the graphical UI.

Maybe there is a way to display the text mode setup but I don't know how.

Anyone experimented?

Hi I need a bios Unlocked to set my fans to quiet mode or moderate because when I am in game the fans start to be very loud
and no possibilites to in windows to change with msi afterburner , evga precisions and Speed Fans, Fan Laptop etc... no software work to change the speed.

any one know if not possible to bios mod to change with a software i never heard the speed of my fans.

I'm new here I dont know if we can give donation to bios mod but i can do donation in case someone want or can do it.

Use this tool to dump bios and attach it.(Run dump.bat as administrator)
I will try edit it.

if i want to start learning editing my bios where i can start ?, any help ?, i just want to see 
and if you can to enable also the control of the fans from any software it could be usefull !

but i will wait your rom before flashing anything ofc !

thanks it worked but the "setup_var 0x8E4 0x0" didnt work , but I tried something on internet
i find this --> 
setup_var 0xA9 0x1
setup_var 0xA6 0x0 
setup_var 0xA7 0x0
+
fptw64.exe -bios -f  dump2.rom 

or not sure dont remember wich one it was --> dump.rom


If is possible I have the laptop to 50celcius in idle , and when I run a game it go up a 80 celius 
is that normal ?  ,  and also some time the laptop go in sleep mode when It reach 95 celcius approximately

how I can put the fans in the bios to 2500 rpm instead of 5000 + rpm normally and is it possible to when the cpu reach 100 celcius maybe a 120 celcius to not going in sleep mod ?

Could you capture a screenshot??
This step will set "Bios lock" option to disable ,so you just can re-flash bios with fpt without any error.

Don't change variable value if you don't know what is its real function ,these variable you provided is invalid in your laptop.


I think the temperature you said on your laptop is very normal ,when you play game processor get high loading is normal.
Passive Trip Point on bios is 95 degree ,,so it will shut down.

Right , 0x8E4 already set to 0x0 ,so you can flash modded with no any error.
Now you should see two new tab "Advanced" and "Chipset"in bios.
