ASUS P7P55D-E LX Marvell and intel update

hi, there's already a modded intel in another part of the site but nothing with new marvell
is it possible to include intel + marvell ?

Tried to do this myself but ended up with a non working Marvell controller. Flashed the original BIOS back and all was well again.

If someone could point me in the direction of a guide on how to do it I'd happily do it. Be handy to be able to do it myself rather that relying on others.

seriously you got back the marvell controller working after [censored] up???
how did you do it and how bad was your defective marvell

The Marvell BIOS just wasn't there after I "updated" it. Everything else was fine so I just reflashed the original bios and that put everything back as it was.

you used asus flash from bios to update or another tool?

I really don't remember mate, it was a while ago now. The machine booted and functioned 100% normally, I just got no Marvell BIOS bit come up, so I guess I just flashed it using the standard Asus tools.
