ok so with the latest modded bios including the spectre and meltdown security patch , ive heard about one other issue and that is ME, anybody able to give this bios one last push of love atleast , and fully disable ME if possible , would be killer, heres the git>

i mean i know it has to be enabled during the short time at boot in order to be able to boot the pc ..cpus starting at nehalem require this , but afterwards its no issue

Intel Management Engine is not included with R3E.

is someone able to transfer the modules and changes into the bios of the asus Rampage III Black Edition.
It is the same hardware just in black color and with a pcie wificard onboard.

I would use this:

CPU Microcode Updated to latest [106A4 Revision 13 (2015-06-30), 106A5 Revision 1D (2018-05-11), 206C2 Revision 1F (2018-05-08), 206C0 Revision 1C (2009-12-14)].

I just added S23 to Gdrive location.
The only change is 206C0 microcode is updated to latest (Rev 1C dated 2009-12-14).
This microcode handles all non-production (not OEM nor Retail) CPU's for our mainboard.  'ES' Engineering Samples and the like.
This microcode will not block Spectre/Meltdown for those CPU's as it is too old, but it should make them more reliable.

Also added S23o:
This version has pre Meltdown/Specter microcode releases:
206c0 Rev 1C
206c2 Rev 1C
106a5 Rev 1B


106a5 effects these CPUs: 
Xeon Models: E5502, E5503, E5504, E5506, E5507, E5520, E5530, E5540, L5506, L5508, L5518, L5520, L5530, W5580, W5590, X5550, X5560, X5570
Core Models: i7-920, i7-930, i7-940, i7-950, i7-960, i7-965, i7-975 

206c2 effects these CPUs:
Xeon Models: E5603, E5606, E5607, E5620, E5630, E5640, E5645, E5649, L5609, L5618, L5630, L5638, L5640, W3670, W3680, W3690, X5647, X5650, X5660, X5667, X5670, X5672, X5675, X5677, X5680, X5687, X5690

S23o will allow your CPU to run at it's full potential, but will leave it susceptible to Meltdown & Spectre.  

Both releases support ANY of the above listed processor models.  If you run some other processor it is supported by one of the other microcodes and was never patched for Meltdown/Spectre.

I'm not sure to have understood the difference between the two S23:

S23: 0% protection for Spectre/Meltdown and therefore "100%" of the potential of the CPU, is that it?

S23o: "minimum" protection for Spectre/Meltdown and therefore approximately "90%" of the potential of the CPU, is that it?

I use the R3E without the add-on: Marvell, Raid, Gbe, Nic, Jmicron, 1394 and not usb3. And work only with 2 x nvme mounted on PCIE cards. So, what would be your choice of modified bios?
Sxxi, in order to privileged the best for our ICH10?

Another question which has nothing to do, I intend to buy a new screen with integrated usb3 hub, do you know if the R3E is able to boot on a usb key connected to a screen usb hub?

Flash Sxxi:
If you run Windows 10 you AND run Intel SATA in AHCI mode. Or ANY (RAID/AHCI) Intel SATA mode in ANY other OS (Win7/*nix).
As no RST software compatibility needs to be overcome, it is best to run the proper ROM for our ICH10 chipset. (fastest benchmarks with this ROM).

@DEza Application compatibility cannot be resolved by rearchiving.  WinRAR is doing the best it can for you.  Use 7zip for proper archive information on 7z files.
I see no reason to rearchive to rar or 7z just so internal info displays properly. Either application will decompress properly, regardless of the missing size displayed.

Of course, I also tried to use the 7 zip archiver of the latest version (see the 2nd screenshot above). But the situation has not changed.

In fact, what confuses me is not that the information about the size of the files inside the archive is not displayed correctly. I am confused by the fact that these files, after being extracted from the archive, when trying to flash them, cannot pass the test in the eZflash utility ...

I tried downloading these archives with different browsers on different computers - the situation is unchanged.

It might be appropriate to verify these important files with checksums. I have the following:
