ASUS ex-b460m-v5
#1
Tongue
Huh  Hi all! Grettings!

Please, help me with unlocking/unhidden AI Tuning Menu to i5 10500ES on the Asus ex-b460m-v5... With mine 10500ES, ASUS's BIOS is hidden "AI Tuning" menu.

It's possible? I whould like of change dram timmings and change some options in AI Tunning menu (like in below video), but with my chinese 10500 ES (engeneering sample) cpu Ai Tunning menu is hidden.

I whould like of change to get less dram latency acess to gaming. I have a 3600mhz dram kit.

My UEFI BIOS *.cap is in attachment.
My thanks!

1.Does these tabs : (Main)(Advanced)(Monitor)(boot)(Exit)(I-Cafe) ,currently you can see in bios setup screen?? (Don't consider their sort)or could you capture a bios screenshot?

2.And try this tool to dump bios and attach.(Run dump.bat as administrator)

Hi, mate, thanks a lot for answers. So, i try the utility app than you upload, the system can't allowed open, report viruses. (EDIT) I disable SO antivirus (Windows Defender), and extract content. My atual BIOS is same that i upload in open post. The last of EX-b460-v5, 1401 version.

Here go my BIOS screenshots:

Thanks more one time.

This not a virus ,because of this batch file will close windows uac temporarily to run script command to dump bios with fpt ,and fptw64.exe were extract from Intel Me tool package.
In order to as possible as to simply the process for user ,so need these batch file.(not all user know how to use cmd)
If you're worry security, manually enter the command line : fptw64.exe -d dump.rom -bios to dump bios with fpt through command prompt and attach it.(cmd also need run as administrator)

The official bios is no any help for bios edit , cuz it can't re-flash via EZ-flash while we edit the official bios ,so need bios dump.
(still not sure if fpt can re-flash mod bios on this platform yet)

*.If you have a spi programmer is better and make it to simple.

Thanks for all, mate.

All was fine so step 3 (Type setup_var 0x14 0x0  then press enter ,if no any error happen ,you will get some    message about offset 0x14 to 0x00.).  (WAS OK, no error)

During flashing, returns this message:

What i can do about?

Do you did unlock "bios lock" at first??
If yes ,do it more times and test again.

*.If it still shown the protect message after do unlock "bios lock" ,it mean it can't re-flash.

The BIOS unlock is that of Ubuntu procedure?

If yes, i did.

Your tutorial is almost perfect, but in this part, don't stay fully cleared: "Tip : option "Bios Lock" varible is 0x14 ,default value is 0x1 = enable."

When i put disabled?
