Acer Aspire 1360 unlock

Hi all

I want to ask for unlocking of the BIOS of the Acer Aspire 1360.

The most recent version the manufacturer has on its website is 1.11:
Acer Europe BIOS file 1.11

However, there is also version 1.15 floating around. Some users report problems flashing it as it is maybe only for the Aspire 1520. I have seen a SLIC mod done here on bios-mods but I'm not interested in the SLIC modification, unless the SLIC mod automatically includes unlocking, does it?

What I want to achieve is to be able to alter the FSB to allow for a little overclocking. Changing memory timings would also be nice, but the FSB is most important.

The original version 1.11 is running very stable for me, so I looked into it with Phoenix Bios Editor but I found no strings that would hint at FSB settings. Is unlocking possible in spite of that? I'm new to Phoenix BIOS mods.

Unlocking fsb setting or memory is not possible as long as there is no strings for it ( this means there is no hidden option for it ) .
you can knew your PLL type and use SETFSB for changing your fsb speed .
