Acer Aspire 7715z CPU support

Hi

Has anyone any information on what CPU is supported for this laptop?
Anyone seen the inside of it?

Acer Aspire 7715Z
I got 4gb ram and a T4400 cpu
Bios: Acer V3.10, date: 04.11.2010
Win 7 Home Premium x64

Your laptop is base on GL40 chipset.
T8100, T8300, T9300, T9500 are recommended for upgrade.

I looked at T9500, but this was over the budget for my good old laptop :-)

4 GB is maximum officially.
I see one post on other forum with GL40 + 8 Gb, but it isn't unconfirmed.
What's kind of memory installed in your laptop - DDR2 or DDR3?

I have DDR3 2x2gb PC3-8500F 533MHz

PC3-8500 has effective speed 1066 Mhz. Only up to 800 Mhz is supported by this chipset.
So you have official maximum of memory.
