Hi!
Been keeping an eye on this forum for a while now in hope that you would be able to crack the nut witch Phenix. And VOILA this time you have managed it Thx a lot for your hard work.

I would like to be able to play around with the FSB to underclock and/or overklock, and if you have found any other tricks I wouldn't mind

This is the modified BIOS image for Acer Aspire 7738G. Sorry, the overclock option is not available in Aspire 7738G's BIOS. Use it at your own risk. Compatible with these models:-

AS7738G 7738 7735G

*AS = ASPIRE

Aspire 7738G BIOS_1.13 MOD.rar (Please give feedback if you use this modified BIOS. Please take pictures of the unlocked options on your computer & post it here.)
- Unlocked hidden options
- Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST) Unlocked - for enable Dual-IDA using ThrottleStop.

NOTES: I have unlocked other menu as well. Please be careful with it. If your computer doesn't boot after changing something in the sub-menu, you will need to disconnect the CMOS/RTC battery to reset CMOS back to default. To do so, you will need to open your notebook casing.

Please make sure your notebook can recover corrupted BIOS with CRISIS disk before flashing BIOS with this modified BIOS image. I will not responsible for any problem. Good luck.

I tryed to test this but it telled me that it wont work becouse i use a 64-bit system.

I couldnt flash the original BIOS update, this one worked for me..

Now I only need to find out how could I unlock full 8GB of RAM that my motherboard supports..

Hi Allex! i have exactly the same problem... i'm the one that passed the unmodified 1.13 bios to the great Kizwan (for use with a qx9300)... now i want to upgrade to 8GB but the only thing that appens is a black screen... did you find a solution?

As written on PM45 Intel spec page, this chipset support 8Gb.

I ve a 7738g w a QX9200 4g ram
I ve changed my video for a firePro M4000 but now i ve no sound ,my onboard sound card seems disable.
I ve already flash my bios with the 1.13 MOD and i don t know how to enable my onboard sound card.
Or it s possible to unhide Advanced tab with an other Bios Mod?
