Acer Aspire 8943G wph or fd file

I am desperatly seeking the wph, fd or rom file for my Acer Aspire 8943G.
On the Acer support site I have downloaded a zip file containing both a dos and Windows exe file that are both executables and not compressed files. They require a booted operating system but since my bios is corrupted this kind of defeats the purpose. A kind of Catch 22 situation.
So if anyone could lead me to the necessary wph, fd or rom file I would be very much obliged. It could revive a otherwise perfectly functioning laptop.

Use UniExtract on Windows exe-file with "Not an InstallShield installer" method.
Then find file with name 7000. Rename it *.wph
