Hello out there i'm new to this forum and i hop anyone can help me unlock my bios so i can get to the setting inside the bios...

as it say in the subject i have a Acer Aspire 8950G and hope anyone out there can help me or say how i can do it...

as it say in the subject i have a Acer Aspire 8950G and hope anyone out there can help me or say how i can do it...

I have found two ways to do and I will do it if You promise to me to try both !
I think they work both well, but I want to learn much more, so I have to look
the modifies and what I will get.
I can unlock EFI More Options to get others settings free, so Would We became ?
Let me know I will upload the 1st and 2nd and You will try first one and then second one, I know that they work both, but I want a confirm !
Let me know and upload the screen shots to see if there are More Options to unlock.

Here there are both Mods so download file and unpack it (I use 7vZip but Winrar is good too) :



Then download original bios file, if You haven't update yet your laptop bios You have to do as mod bios have to flash
on original, if you have done it's all ok, so unpack it by 7vZip or winrar and in windows folder You'll find your update file
.exe unpack it too and into You will find InsydeFlash.exe the program to flash your bios and this file ZYF.fd it's the original
file bios.
So You have to rename mine file ZYF_MN_UNLCK.1.fd to ZYF.fd and replace to original, the use InsydeFlash.exe to flash
it to Eeprom, It will reboot, go into bios by F2 key and look Unlocked Menu Power and Advanced do some shots and then
reboot to do 2nd test, as 1st rename and replace, flash and go into bios by F2 key look and do shots, reboot !
The I can say which one is better and if unlock EFI code to get More options.
Don't forget to do screen shoots for the two mods and upload it here.

Those are working both as Picture shown !
I will look for more options, now.
Don't touch Video Setting are dangerous, can brick laptop !!!!
Ask before do many changes into it.

First thank you for modded bios for my Acer 8950g which working perfectly.
Few days ago I installed egpu and now I would like to try overclock my laptop - CPU/FSB but I need unlocked Intel management engine ICC which is difficult to find in internet. Please see below link of my MEFW Firmware (1.5MB) . Could you please help me unlock MEFW to overclock my laptop?
