Why isnt R02-B1 working , it is for the exact same system , just a more recent version

What errors are you encountering? / Where are yu running into difficulties with this update?

version R02-B1 don't work with my bios, so I cannot use it .


I used the bios r01-a1 in your first post . http://files.getdropbox.com/u/1525839/Bios/M5100MOD.BIN and my pc don't work Black screen !

How i can fix this?

My old bios was R01-A1 original acer .

Yoyu ahve two options. A either follow a google search for award recovery, or B buy a bios chip with the original ROm for 20 dollars at biosman.

Also, Im taking down version A, seeming as how it seems unsuccesful

But apparently, the B version works, so if you can find the link you have the gold, or reupload version B and ill remod it. Fofr some reason difference in versions can make the difference.
