Acer Aspire M5620 - Can't switch Sata mode to AHCI
#1
Hi everyone,

i've recently installed a new ssd to my computer and had to assert that i can't change the onboard sata mode in bios settings to ahci. It's on raid mode atm and greyed out (see also attached picture). Acer support told me that this option is factory-provided locked. Now everytime i boot up my PC, a menu to set up a raid appears for a few seconds, which is extremely annoying. So my hope is now on you guys to help me out with this problem. Thank you in advance.

My System:
Acer Aspire M5620
Motherboard: ACER G33T-AM
SATA Controller: ICH9R

Link to BIOS file: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/desktop/asp...R01-B2.zip
