Good afternoon,
First I would like to apologize if this is in the wrong section. I was searching from some answers. I came across an older post where someone requested an unlocked bios for this model Acer. There were no hidden features, but I was wondering if it is possible to flash a different bios to this system that would allow me to customize advanced cpu/mobo settings.
Acer Aspire M3400
Chipset is 880G Rev. 00
Southbridge is SB850 Rev. 40
LPCIO is IT8721
Bios is American Megatrends inc.
Version P01-A3
I received this computer from a friend and decided to upgrade the CPU and graphics card. I am waiting for the new AMD chips (Bulldozer) to come out before I build a new system. I am currently running the Phenom 2 X4 955 Black edition. Please let me know if this is worth perusing or if you need any other information from me.
