I am interested in Lenovo Thinkpad E130 Edge with BIOS Version: 2.60. I have a problem with installing RAM. It currently supports 2x8GB of RAM. I have an I3 3217U CPU.

I am wondering why when I put in DDR3L 16GB 1600Mhz my laptop starts beeping. Is there any version of Bios that has support for 2x16GB of RAM, because according to all statistics, the E130 should be able to handle 32GB.
Is there any bios that is modiified and has already been added to the notebook?

Hi everyone,
I am trying to replace the original Broadcom WiFi card with an Intel 7260AC(Non-FRU version) in my ThinkPad E130.However,the BIOS halts with 1802 Unauthorized network card error.

My current BIOS version is H4ET92WW(2.52). It seems this version might not have strict write protection yet, so I managed to dump the BIOS using Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit 2.0.
