Alienware M14x R1 null LCD boot

ALL,
I am usually reluctant to question in forums but this one has got me stumped a little.  I have an old Alien-ware m14x r1 that I would like to run headless with no monitor.  I know the system does an LCD check and will not post if no LCD exists.  My question is a 2 part.  Has this option to ignore the LCD check been implemented into any of the modded bios for this system? And, secondary has any one attempted to make a Null LCD cable that would trick the system into thinking there is an LCD equipped.  If all else fails I will attempt to create one but would prefer not to endure the headache of the testing process to do so.  Please advise.
