Asus CUV4X-CME (or -M)

Since my MSI BIOS can't be modded, could anyone try and see if he can mod this one? It's my second (and last) µATX board so hopefully it will work

In the normal BIOS, there is an option to change the FSB, but it's greyed out - that's the only thing I'd like enabled, if possible.

If you are trying to open it with modbin, it won't work as apparently ASUS does something to their BIOSes that makes modbin unable to open them. This guy says they are packed differently and have CRC bytes added, or something.


I extracted the individual BIOS files with acbrom (v2.08 doesn't work, v1.01 does) but I've never really used a hex editor to directly edit a BIOS and those CRC bytes will probably make me brick my board or something anyway. Or does acbrom calculate and add them automatically when repacking the files?
