Asus P5G41-m LX2/GB Bios Mod

I have version 0501 and I have tried flashing several updated ROMs and mods, but I keep getting errors messages saying the mods/ROMs aren't compatible with my motherboard. I'm just about at wit's end. The reason I'm trying to mod my board is because the newest "official" ROM does not include AI control nor does it allow for cpu OC other than changing voltage. I'd like to be able to change base clock and mem clock ect. Does anyone know why I might be getting errors like this or a proven ROM for a test subject I can use? I'm a newby in terms of mobo mods, but not in Dig elec, programming, or Dig logi. Any details and screenshots I can provide, just ask.
