Asus P6T Deluxe v1 2209 updated all OROMs
#1
Stock: P6T-ASUS-DELUXE-2209

Intel Matrix RAID 8.0.0.1038 -> 10.0.0.1046
Marvell 88SE6121 L72a -> L73 (used a 20KB ROM I had, not the 89KB RAID 1.2.0.32, because 20KB was about the same size as the stock L72a in this board)
Marvell Yukon PXE 6.15.1.3 -> 6.60.2.3

UNTESTED, flash at your own risk. Please let us know how it works for you if you try it. Let me know if RAID 10.0 doesn't work and I'll provide an image with 9.6 instead.

EDIT: Rampage III Extreme does not work with RAID > 8.0.0. It is the first I have seen of an ICH10-based board not work with 9.6. This board could potentially have the same problem. Please try it and let me know. Just be sure to keep the stock version on your flash drive as well. If you don't use RAID mode normally, I would appreciate it if you would give it a try and let me know if it works. If not, we can figure out what version will work, or I can provide a version with just Marvell's OROMs updates.

Feel free to use/link/host any BIOS I post, no credit necessary. However, this is at your own risk and I take no responsibility. Always keep a backup of a known-good BIOS. Don't flash a motherboard if you don't have a backup computer just in case.

Always use RAID mode. RAIDFix

Probably not, unfortunately.

Just wanted to give you a heads up from the rampage 3 1102 thread this came from one of the memeber over at Hardocp that works for Asus.

Hopefully this will hold true.

Gary Key ASUS Technical Support,

We will have an update in about two weeks on the board, next week is Chinese New Year so the whole country in on vacation.

Below is the correspondence with Asus support they would like me to send the board in for RAM due to this issue, I think the update would fix this but want to try it before tearing my system apart and sending the board back. Below is the correspondence with a Asus support specialist and a link to bios mods that speaks about the issues people are having.

Sadney,
Besides the raid Issue the board works in non-raid configuration, it also
works in raid configuration however the issues is only occurring when using
SSD's that are configured in RAID 0 within the bios prior to OS
installation. As a work around I have set the drives up on the Intel raid
controller in non-raid configuration. I then loaded the OS and loaded the
newest raid drivers from Intel 10.1.01.1008 I was then able to extended out
the drive to raid 0 with no issues. I rebooted multiple time verified that
in the bios it show raid 0 for the two SSD's, I then wiped the drives set
the drives up in the BIOS to RAID 0 loaded the OS and after about 10-15 min
the SSD fails and no longer shows up in the Intel bios configuration using
the v8.0.0. 1038 driver and rom. Since I use a rather elaborate set up IE
water cooling and the issue seems to be a BISO issue can Asus try to either
add the Intel RAID 9.6.0.1014 or the Intel Matrix RAID 10.0.0.1046 rom to
the 1102 BIOS so I can test? I really don't want to have to take apart my
system and send it all the way out there for 2+ weeks if this is something
that can be resolved through testing.

I just sent him a privmsg on Hardforum (I am on that forum with a different nick, dandragonrage) letting him know that the problem applies to all of their X58 boards and that the latest released OROM is 10.1, not 10.0. Intel probably has 10.2 ready by now but I don't have it if so.
