Request for SLIC 2.1 for Win 7

Seems this bios already has a valid HP 2.1 SLIC Marker and Pubkey.

Check with http://dl.dropbox.com/u/747181/SLIC_Dump_ToolKit.EXE to see if you have valid 2.1 slic. If so , just install the correct oem certificate and oem slp key and windows 7 will be activated.

If you cant see the 2.1 slic table using the tool , you will have to set the OS SKU to Windows 7 (Basically telling the machine that Windows 7 came preinstalled. The 2.1 SLIC table will then be unhidden). There is a guide somewhere on the forum but im still looking for the link

OK , follow the tutorial in our tutorials section to create a bootable DOS USB/CD/DVD

Download this tool , boot from the USB/CD/DVD into DOS and execute V10B.bat. Then go to the advanced menu , then OS SKU , set it to 2 (for windows 7) and reboot. Then recheck using the SLIC tool i posted above to see the 2.1 SLIC . Then install key and certificate and your done!
