when updated bios will be released?? now bios version Clevo x7200 - BIOS 1.00.12 - July 8, 2011 (Update RAID ROM to 10.5.0.1034)

I have been told by Clevo x7200 owner @ Clevo x7200 and Sager NP7280 owners lounge that Clevo BIOSes are not compatible with Intel XTU. Since then, I'm no longer unlock Clevo BIOS. Please read their latest discussion on this matter at page 494 & 495.

Also from Clevo x7200 owner @ Clevo x7200 and Sager NP7280 owners lounge, both Clevo x7200 and Sager NP7280 are the same notebook, just only different brand. Recent discussion regarding this can be found at page 493. This show Clevo x7200 can use Sager NP7280 BIOS.

You can find latest modified BIOS for Clevo x7200 and Sager NP7280 at first post. As usual, use at your own risk!

Kizwan, Please unlock the last version bios Clevo. I don't use the mobile processor, I use intel 990 extreme. Therefore for me it is an important option in bios. Or explain sequence of steps for changes in bios that it became unlocked.

As far as I know both Clevo x7200 and Sager NP7280 notebook use desktop processor. What options are you referring to?

I still yet haven't acquired a notebook, but I plan to be engaged overclocked, at such that possibilities of my processor 990 the sin would be not to be engaged in it. Therefore I want that the overclock option was present in bios. Especially I will use memory Kingston HyperX 1866 with XMP profiles. Besides here overclock function in bios is necessary. Or simply you couldn't show as I personally could unlock any bios without puzzling you?

ОООООооо thanks for layout of new release bios! Only I here don't understand one why you in this subject at appearance of the new version bios haven't allocated at once here??

There is latest modified BIOS available in first post. It's new one. For now, only Sager BIOS support overclocking. The modified BIOS only make the overclock options visible in BIOS menu. Clevo BIOS is not only does not support Intel XTU, it also doesn't contain any overclocking options.

Since you haven't acquired the notebook. You might want to ask question regarding the BIOS at Clevo x7200 and Sager NP7280 owners lounge.

I.e. to use overclock options to the full I should use bios for the mine notebook Clevo X7200 from notebook Sager?
