Clevo x7200 bios protection and CPU OC

Hello,
i have a Clevo X7200 Notebook with Phoenix Bios.

My Problem is that i cant update to a new Bios.

Today i tried to update the Bios "05cs/ecflash7" but it failed.
I burned the iso and reboot, type STEP1 in DOS and the flashing startet. erase/write over 15min. in loop
I must push the Battery to stop the process.
After instert the Battery i startet the Book without any problems..


The same when i tried to flash the Bios again but with a USB Stick.
The Bios Files on a USB Stick (DOS), Laptop settings to default and restart.

type "step1" and it begin to write and verify but in a loop it doesnt stop.

After a while i musst push the Battery to stop this.
Whats the problem?

Have this Bios a write protection?
And is there a protection that i cant OC my i7 950CPU?
With the i7 980x are OC possible.

the 980X has an unlocked multiplier , otherwise you can only adjust the multiplier downwards or not at all

Hello,
i know from other Users that with my Bios dont work the OC with the "Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility"
In my Bios must be a lock for the i 950.

With this Bios

Can you look to my Bios for a OC lock and write protection, becouse i cant update/flash my bios.
