DMI data: I am very tired
#1
Sad
Six months & I am unable to restore my lost DMI data Sad

Six months ago I lost my DMI data using an external SPI Flash Programmer. I tried all DMI Editor available in the world & they are unable to write these DMI data

So please I need someone who has Insyde BIOS to dump it for me as a sample to know where these DMI data should be written.

use this tool to dump the entire of your BIOS

http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...up-Toolkit

You can open the dumped BIOS with an Hex Editor & search for your Serial Number & then erase it (replace it).

help me please Sad

Can you explain what you mean by lost DMI data? Whouldn't flashing a new image restore any lost data?

When you Flash your BIOS with crisis option (WINDOW + B) buttons from boot, all the EEPROM 2 MB will be updated. So the DMI info (Serial Number, Product Number, UUID, Product Configuration ID) will be erased. Thats what I mean
