Dell Dimension 5150/E510 A07 Dell SLIC 2.1
#1
Greetings,
I see nothing but favorable responses in all the threads - obviously impressive work!
I am in need of and would be immensely grateful for a SLIC 2.1 mod of the bios for the Dimension E510...

Manufacturer: DELL
Model: Dimension 5150/E510
BIOS type: ?
BIOS Ver: A07
BIOS Link : ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/bios/D5150A07.EXE
Product Link : http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/format.aspx?c=us&cs=22&l=en&s=dfh&deviceid=308&libid=1&releaseid=R144763&vercnt=5&formatcnt=0&SystemID=DIMENSION 5150/E510&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=-1&dateid=-1&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&impid=-1&checkFormat=true

If possible, thank you in advance!!!
Patrick
Apologies - I found there is a SLIC request thread after posting this - I've now posted this request there. If the question is to be answered there and this one is unneccessary, please delete for me - the edit function said I didn't have the authority to do that when I tried a minute ago...

Moved to requests , this isnt confirmed! Tongue

Here you go , i used Dell 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt:

slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was successfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.
