You have a different Dell Computer. The update is only for Dell Inspiron 1525 not Dell Studio 1525. It will not work. You will need a different bios update file.

Sorry about that , i had renamed the file wrong sorry - the original file was A16 for Inspiron 1525

I cant seem to get this to work...I keep getting....proforming BIOS update...

Error! the BIOS updaye could not be performed because a valid ROM image file could not be found....

Any ideas? this is an inspiron 1525

Try it on a bootable usb, and be sure to rename the file to bios.bin to keep things simple.

Sorry, miscommunication. Rername the modded bios file that we created for you to bios.rom, put it on a usb drive for flashing, and when the command comes for name of file, type bios.rom
