This bios created by DeathBringer bypasses the Incompatible Processor error message on Dell Optiplex GX 520/620 models.

all credit goes to DeathBringer for this gem.

I just have to say, thank you so much for this.

I've searched the internet high and low for a solution and was blessed with your GX520/620 mod.

I have a computer Dell GX520 with a processor Intel Pentium D 830 @ 3.00GHz. Windows works very well, but when you start the message: Alert! Incompatible processor detected. Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility

I have uploaded the modified BIOS with this topic. The problem with the message Incompatible Processor is not gone, any ideas what I did wrong?

Please make BIOS backup by Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 and I'll check your BIOS update.

OK, BIOS is updated correctly. Please tell S-spec of your CPU.
Did you try reset CMOS?
Try this:
◦Power off the system from the power button or the wall jack.
◦Disconnect the power cable from the wall jack and remove all the cables connected to the back of system tower including the power cable.
◦Press and hold the power button pressed for 30 seconds.
◦Connect the power cable, keyboard and monitor cable only.
◦Power on the system and see if it works.

I reset earlier CMOS by removing the battery.

I also tried your way but nothing has changed.
