ECS RC410L/800-M2: Wolfdale support
#1
Dear @LosSantosPro,
Good day.

Pls look at supported CPU list for motherboard ECS RC410L/800-M2 https://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Produc...-Intel-RR-

You have added microcode for C2D processors, I think it won't work, cuz all of it are based on core "Wolfdale" and C2D FSB is 1333 (unsupported by MB). Link here https://cpu-list.com/cpu-list-lga775-lga771/

Look at Pentium Dual-Core E5800 / E5700 / E5500 / E5400
These CPU's FSB is 800 (supported by MB), but also based on core "Wolfdale".

How do you think regarding that core "Wolfdale", can you add support into bios for that MB ? If yes, we can put cpu's E5800 / E5700 / E5500 / E5400 and they should work.

Current BIOS hasn't support for Conroe & Wolfdale
Adding microcode will not add this support.

Don't buy Pentium D 9x5 - they haven't VT-x support.

Whoa, thank you for clarification!

So, I should find and buy the one from the following list:
Pentium D 960 (D0) (95W) - SL9K7
Pentium D 950 (C1) (95W) - SL95V
Pentium D 940 (C1) (95W) - SL95W
Pentium D 930 (C1) (95W) - SL95X
