EVGA 113-M2-E113-TR AMD Phenom II Support
#1
[Image: evga113.png]

This mod adds recognition for the AMD Phenom II Proccessor family. While thr proccessor initializes successfully in the original version, the BIOS now reports the correct CPU instead of "unknown CPU". This has been tested with the Phenom II 550 BE.

it says this isnt a cd/dvd image...so i cant burn it correctly...how do i go about installing this. i have e113 730a motherboard and i already flashed the z13 bios update...it recognizes my phenom II x4 955 be processor but the clock remains at 800mhz, i just want it to work correctly. any tips??

To run this update follow our DOS flash BIOS guide in the tutorials section. Unfortunately many people run into the 800mhz with the 955W and it is a power acpi limitation that hasn't been solved for any motherboard yet, but it wouldn't hurt to give the mod a try.

I have the EVGA 113-M2-E113-RX and i would like to know if this is the right bios for it . I have a X2-555 Black Edition and it runs at the right speed 3.2 but identified as unknown processor . I also get a coprocessor error in divice manager . I gather from your message that this only adds identification, not any functions. The bios on the board is the latest on their web site 1-15- 2009 A730AZ13
Thanks Joe

Tthis BIOS should fix all those issues, assuming your board is compatible. Go to EVGA's site and see if these boards ever shared the same BIOS so we can tell.

On their website for EVGA 113 bios updates it only list one http://www.evga.com/support/drivers/defa...p?switch=2
and thats is the one on my board .
Thanks Joe

Well then I'd say if there's only one then you're good to go Big Grin

I downloaded the bios, used it to create a floppy replaced the bin file with your bin file . On their web site it says to just type Y and bios will update . In your "how to update moded bios" it says to type awdflash BIOS.BIN /py /sn /cc / cd /cp /wb /r

As i have messed up a bios in the past i want to make sure i do it right .
Thanks Joe

No infact your method is probably even safer. I'd stick to the EVGA software and just use "Y".

The board i was going try this on quit working . I sent it back and that makes me leary of trying the bios hack when they send a replacement
