EVGA NVIDIA GT220
#1
can you guys make this card go as fast as you can?

and turn the fan to 100% all the time its absolutely silent and ive used EVGA precision to turn the fan to 100% and its still very quiet so yeah

Well we don't know what sort of clocks your card can handle, so we can't just program in some random overclock.

I loaded up the ROM in NiBiTor and it doesn't support most of the settings, including fan settings, on a GT220. I can only change clocks and voltages, and the voltage adjustment is very coarse and nearly useless, IMO. I can program in clocks if you want to test what your card can handle and get back to me. Test overclocking using Furmark to check for stability. It should be able to run for at least 24 hours to be considered stable. Get back to me with the clockspeed you want if you want me to do this.

I can only give you .1 more volts, from 1.0v up to 1.1v. I don't recommend it unless you have an upgraded cooler and even then it's risky.

Feel free to use/link/host any BIOS I post, no credit necessary. However, this is at your own risk and I take no responsibility. Always keep a backup of a known-good BIOS. Don't flash a motherboard if you don't have a backup computer just in case.

Always use RAID mode. RAIDFix

then leave it alone

sounds like its hardly worth your time

and i dont want to risk losing this card

its not the greatest but itl actually play games and shitt so yeah

ill just use software overclocks then

thanks

I will say this, though - if you want full fan speed all the time with little risk, you can just unplug the fan from the card and adapt it to a regular fan plug or a Molex plug and plug it straight into your PSU.

Maybe NiBiTor will support more options for your card in a future release.
