I have an Emachines EL1300-02W pc and need to redo the BIOS, I have the BIOS files from their website, HOWEVER there's an issue.... Something happened to the pc and took windows out. The restore disks are worthless, and I think that a BIOS flash is the answer as the pc is acting up, the CD Rom drive is non functional for boot up restore, and the USB ports with either work or not... I tried to use their BIOS update but it won't let the BIOS install, so I was thinking if I could install the BIOS binary using Phoenix-Award's software? I think something got on the hdd from the internet and screwed up the BIOS. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.
